Mercy One is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to join our radiology team in Waterloo, IA. You will receive comprehensive training to excel in CT imaging and patient positioning, contributing to high-quality care alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program completion.
• CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.

Responsabilités

• Efficient interpretation of radiology needs from clinical team.
• Perform imaging with proper patient positioning and order compliance.
• Monitor radiation exposure time and activity carefully.
• Apply sterile techniques and safety practices.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate radiology equipment as needed.

Shift: Varied

Responsibilities:

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.




• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.




• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.




• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.




• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications:

• Must have relevant credentials as defined below:




• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).




• Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.




• Maintains active registry status.




• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.




• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.




• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.
