Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a CT Tech to join the team for an evening shift. The role includes performing CT imaging with comprehensive training provided to ensure excellence in technique and patient care.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program completed.
• CT experience preferred; ARRT or NMTCB credential preferred.
• Active registry and state license to practice radiology.
• Mandatory Reporter training completed within 3 months; BLS qualification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information for radiology needs.
• Thorough and accurate imaging according to the order.
• Monitor radiation exposure time and activity.
• Maintain sterile techniques and safety practices for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications

M ust have relevant credentials as defined below:

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Previous CT experience preferred . CT credential ( ARRT or NMTCB ) preferred.
• Maintains active registry status .
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
