Job summary

Mercy One is hiring a CT Technologist for a part-time, rotating shift role. No prior CT experience is required as comprehensive training is provided to ensure you excel in the position and join a team that collaborates to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Maintains active registry status and state Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant credentials as defined below:
• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• PreviousCT experience preferred.CTcredential(ARRT or NMTCB)preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
