Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a part-time days shift to support the Radiology / CT Scan department. The role involves preparing patients, operating CT equipment, and assisting physicians to obtain diagnostic scans.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT CT certification within six months of hire, and an active state license. Prior CT experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
• ARRT-approved Radiography Program or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
• AR RT CT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• State license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures; prepare patient and operate CT equipment to obtain scans.

CT Tech Part Time Days Job Summary:

The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What You'll Do

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
