Job summary

A healthcare solutions company is seeking a CT Scan Tech to provide professional and excellent service while performing CT procedures. The candidate must have CT tech experience and valid certification by ARRT NJ. Responsibilities include obtaining medical supplies, adhering to HIPAA regulations, and monitoring patient conditions. Location is in Pompton Plains / Hackensack, NJ, with a schedule from 11a-7p Monday through Friday and pay starting at $65/hr.

Qualifications

Position: CT Scan Tech

Location: Pompton Plains / Hackensack, NJ

Schedule Notes: 11a-7p Monday‑Friday / No call, No weekends.

Pay: $65/hr and more

Duties

• The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks.
• Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols.
• The technologist will adhere to all HIPAA regulations and respect the patients privacy.
• Observes patient’s condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist.
• Ensures availability of medicals records, previous reports, labs and history of patient.
• Can begin emergency response in case of complication.
• Maintains adequate linen supplies in each scanning room.
• Maintains adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.

Job Requirement & Experience

CT tech experience with valid Ct Tech Certificate Required by ARRT NJ

Required Education

• HS diploma/GED
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College‑based Radiography program.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT RT (CT)
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X‑Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
