Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a skilled CT Scan Tech to join their team in Pompton Plains/Hackensack, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CT Tech Certificate, have CT tech experience, and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing excellent patient care. This role requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Radiography program. The position offers a schedule of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, with competitive pay starting at $66 per hour.

Job description

Position: CT Scan Tech

Location: Pompton Plains/Hackensack NJ

Schedule Notes: 11a-7p M -F / No call, No weekends.

Pay: $66/hr and more

Duties:

• The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks.
• Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols.
• The technologist will adhere to all HIPAA regulations and respect the patients privacy.
• Observes patient’s condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist.
• Ensures availability of medicals records, previous reports, labs and history of patient.
• Can begin emergency response in case of complication.
• Maintains adequate linen supplies in each scanning room.
• Maintains adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.

Job Requirement & Experience:

CT tech experience with valid Ct Tech Certificate Required by ARRT NJ

Required Education:

• HS diploma/GED
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT RT (CT)
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
