Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography.
• ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures independently, ensuring diagnostic image quality.

Job description

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting patient care at a medical center. They perform CT procedures independently, ensuring diagnostic image quality while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards. Key duties include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures, maintaining patient comfort, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and documenting accurately in RIS/PACS. They respond to emergencies, support departmental operations, and ensure equipment and areas are maintained and compliant.

Qualifications

include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and a minimum of one year of radiology experience. Certifications required are ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
