Halifax Health is seeking a CT Technologist to provide patient care while producing high-quality CT imaging. The role includes contrast administration with assessment and follow-up, and supervision of students.

Candidates must have ARRT multi-modality registration, Florida licensure, PACS familiarity, and a minimum of five years in radiologic technology; a four-year JRCERT-accredited program is preferred and willingness to perform Level II tasks when needed.

Qualificações

• Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program or regionally approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARD registration in more than one modality is required.
• Florida license to operate ionizing/non-ionizing imaging equipment per state standards.
• Minimum 5 years of radiologic technology experience.
• Experience with PACS systems preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in more than one modality.

Responsabilidades

• Produce high-quality CT imaging while caring for patients.
• Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals with patient assessment and follow-up.
• Provide backup supervision and coordination in the absence of a coordinator.
• Perform Level II Radiographer/Technologist duties when requested.
• Directly supervise students and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

CT Technologist

This individual would provide care to all patients while producing high quality imaging modalities. They would also provide contrast or radiopharmaceutical administration with patient assessment and follow-up information. Demonstrate all necessary skills and knowledge of section computer and /or equipment technology. Provide backup supervision (coordination) and direction to all radiology sections in the absence of a coordinator. Perform duties of a Level II Radiographer/Technologist when requested. Directly supervise students. Maintain certification according to the State, National and Medical Center regulations.

• Must be a graduate of a Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or regionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology. A four year program is preferred.
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in more than one modality.
• Must be licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment according to MQA, Joint Commission and ALARA standards.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a specific Radiologic technology science or area of specialization required.
• Experience with the PACS system preferred.
• Previous experience in more than one modality is required.
