HCA Healthcare's Medical City Decatur is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform quality CT and X-ray procedures, operate equipment, and prepare room and supplies for exams.

You will uphold radiation safety, support department goals, and provide compassionate care to patients across all ages, from infant to geriatric, in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifikationen

• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT-CT or ARRTR (ARRT-R) certification.
• MRT State Licensure (TMB).
• If associate lacks ARRT(CT) registration, must obtain within 6 months.
• One year of CT experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. Operates CT and X-ray equipment and processes images as required. Prepares CT room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and ensures his/her direct reports and other staff members follow the same precautions. Maintains safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. Provides services to all age groups (infant to geriatric).

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology,
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
• MRT State Licensure (TMB)
• If associate does not hold ARRT(CT) registration, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of cross-training program.
• One year of CT experience preferred.
