Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist for Medical City North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, TX. The role involves operating CT equipment, coordinating scan scheduling, and responding to emergencies after hours.

The staff will treat patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics. The position requires an Associate Degree (or vocational training), ARRT-CT and ARRT-R credentials within 6 months, BCLS within 30 days, and 1 year CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
• ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• ARRT-R radiography certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment for patient exams and ensure optimal image quality.
• Coordinate scheduling of CT Scans for equipment utilization.
• Be available for emergency call-back after normal working hours.
• Care for patients from newborn through adolescence through geriatric.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient safety and throughput.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Staff will operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment for performance of patient exams. Staff will coordinate scheduling of CT Scans for maximum equipment utilization. Staff will be available for emergency call-back after normal working hours. The Medical City North Hills staff member can expect to care for adult patients through geriatric and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
