Job summary

Medical City Dallas, a leading hospital in Garland, is hiring a CT Technologist (PRN) to join our FSED team. You will perform CT imaging, prepare patients, and ensure accurate data post-processing under radiologist supervision.

We require an Associate Degree with ARRT certification and active BLS, with duties including assisting during invasive procedures and codes as needed. Enjoy a supportive benefits package and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician credential required.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) credential required.
  • Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of all CT exam protocols for specific exams.
  • In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
  • Apply radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
  • Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
  • Responsible for post-processing of data.
  • Assist physician during invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
  • Assist during codes as needed.

Job Summary And Qualifications

  • You will be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
  • You will utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
  • You will obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
  • You will be responsible for the post processing of data.
  • You will assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
  • You will assist during codes.
What Qualifications You Will Need
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
