Halifaxhealth seeks a CT Technologist to provide patient care while producing high-quality CT imaging. The role includes contrast administration with patient assessment and follow-up, and supervision duties in the absence of the coordinator.

When needed, perform Level II radiography tasks and supervise students directly. Candidates must hold a JRCERT/regionally accredited degree, ARRT registration in multiple modalities, and Florida licensure.

Qualificações

• Graduate from a JRCERT or regionally accredited radiologic technology program (4-year preferred).
• ARRT registration in more than one modality is required.
• Florida license to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment per regulatory standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to patients while producing high-quality imaging modalities.
• Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals with patient assessment and follow-up.
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge of radiologic technology equipment and protocols.
• Provide backup supervision and direction in the absence of the coordinator.
• Perform Level II Radiographer/Technologist duties when requested.
• Directly supervise students during procedures.
• Maintain certification according to state, national, and medical center regulations.

This individual would provide care to all patients while producing high quality imaging modalities. They would also provide contrast or radiopharmaceutical administration with patient assessment and follow-up information. Demonstrate all necessary skills and knowledge of section computer and /or equipment technology. Provide backup supervision (coordination) and direction to all radiology sections in the absence of a coordinator. Perform duties of a Level II Radiographer/Technologist when requested. Directly supervise students. Maintain certification according to the State, National and Medical Center regulations.

• - Must be a graduate of a Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) orregionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology. A four year program is preferred.
• - Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in more than one modality.
• - Must be licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment according to MQA, Joint Commission and ALARA standards.
• - Minimum of 5 years experience in a specific Radiologic technology science or area of specializationrequired.
• - Experience withthe PACS system preferred.
• - Previous experience in more than one modality isrequired.
