Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acquire patient chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set‑up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study.
• Verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.

As a CT Technologist, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients by providing accurate computed tomography imaging. You will perform scans for a high‑volume outpatient department, with the potential to see up to 40 patients in eight hours. Because of this fast‑paced workflow, efficiency and timeliness are essential. Work Schedule

A caregiver in this position works evenings (4-10hr shifts) 12:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. No weekends.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing
• Computed Tomography (CT) Certification [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

• Minimum hourly: $33.50
• Maximum hourly: $48.50
