Job summary

Rush Copley Medical Center seeks a CT technologist to perform routine and advanced CT exams using GE and Siemens equipment. The role includes patient transport, contrast administration, and occasional radiography at our off-site Yorkville facility.

The ideal candidate holds AMA-approved radiologic technology training, ARRT registration, a valid IEMA license, and CPR certification, with CT certification preferred. ER and inpatient STAT exams are common patient populations.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Formal training in radiologic technology from an AMA approved program.
• Must be ARRT registered.
• Valid IEMA license.
• CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT applications on GE and Siemens systems.
• Transport and prepare patients for CT exams.
• Administer contrast agents as required.
• Occasionally perform general radiography at off-site Yorkville facility.

Job description

Responsible for performing routine, and advanced CT applications using GE and Siemens equipment. Individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Associated duties include transporting, administering contrast agents and occasionally performing general radiography at our off-site facility in Yorkville. Patient populations are predominantly emergency room and in-patient STAT exams.

Position Requirements

• Formal training at an AMA approved school of radiologic technology.
• Registered ARRT
• Valid IEMA license
• American Heart Association CPR certification
• CT Certification preferred
