Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist, you'll utilize Computerized Tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis, in compliance with safety procedures and protocols. Your responsibilities include interpreting physician’s instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture appropriate images. Your daily tasks also involve:

1. Maneuvering equipment and patients
2. Providing basic patient care
3. Submitting accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges
4. Supporting departmental initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction
5. Performing technical procedures requiring judgment, initiative, and ingenuity to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
6. Maintaining current skills and continuing professional development, including attending departmental meetings, learning from radiologists, and staying informed about CHI Franciscan standards and protocols
7. Performing quality assurance audits and incidental office duties to ensure complete patient records and a well-functioning department

Qualifications:

Education/Work Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, with coursework in cross-sectional anatomy or demonstrated skills/knowledge in the area
• Preferred: One year of experience as a CT Technologist

Licensure/Certification:

• ARRT certification required
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required
• State of Washington Registration as a Radiologic Technologist
• CT registration preferred

Note: The location requires quarterly AHA RQI competency certification post-hire, which must be completed through internal resources.
