Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System is seeking a CT Technologist for St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. The role requires ARRT CT registry and at least one year of CT experience, with a 12-hour day shift and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

Position Purpose

CT Technologist, FT 3 12's St Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA *10k Sign on bonus

Performs diagnostic exams consistent with quality CT Imaging.

Fulltime, Day shift Monday, Thursday, Friday 8a-8p

• Must have ARRT and at least 1yr experience as CT Tech to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus.

What You Will Do

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT registered - CT registry
• Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program
• Experience: Experience necessary to demonstrate competence
• Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with education level
