Job summary

St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA is hiring a CT Technologist for a full-time Day shift (8a–8p) on Monday, Thursday and Friday, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, apply ionizing radiation techniques, and prepare pediatric to geriatric patients for scans. ARRT CT registry and completion of an approved Radiology program are required, with at least 1 year of CT experience.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: ARRT CT registry required.
• Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program.
• Experience: At least 1 year as CT Tech.
• Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of CT imaging and department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
