Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX, is seeking a CT Technician PRN to join our Radiology team. Under general supervision, you will operate CT equipment, position patients, and perform related duties to produce diagnostic radiographs safely.

Qualified candidates will have Texas Medical Board Certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist, ARRT registration (R), and current BCLS certification; associates degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT CT credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board licensure in radiologic technology
• ARRT (R) registration and BCLS certification required
• Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program (AS degree or equivalent)

Responsabilités

• Operates CT equipment and positions patients for examinations.
• Adjusts equipment, selects technical factors, and ensures image quality.
• Maintains patient safety and observes sterile techniques.
• Records exams and manages data in PACS/logs.
• Communicates with physicians and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Performs clerical tasks related to exam requisitions.
• Supports department with ongoing education and quality improvement.
