Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a wide range of CT procedures for patients of varying ages within the Diagnostic Imaging Services department.

The role requires three years of CT or imaging experience, MRT and ARRT (CT) certification, and current CPR training. An Associate’s degree in Radiology is also required, and hospital experience is preferred.

Performs wide range of CT procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Required Experience:

Work Experience:

Three years of experience performing a wide variety of CT or Imaging procedures required; preferably in a hospital setting.

License/Registration/Certification:

Medical Radiography Technologist (MRT) required

ARRT (R) (CT) required.

Current CPR training required.

Education and Training:

Associate’s degree of Applied Sciences in Radiology required.
