Job summary

Procare EL PASO EMERGENCY ROOM EAST seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform X-ray and CT imaging, with emphasis on quality and patient care. The role involves supporting physicians, nurses, and staff while adhering to ALARA and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in radiology/imaging, 1+ year ER experience, AMRA/ARRT preferred, and a current BLS certification. Proficiency with PACS and CT equipment is expected, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years radiology/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• 2+ year CT experience preferred.
• Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment and PACS.
• English reading/writing comprehension required; multilingual adds value.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per established policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs, QA/QC for CT and DR X-Ray in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per COLA and CLIA regulations.
• Vascular access via peripheral IV and venipuncture.
• Learn and perform 12-Lead EKGs.
• Support Front Office staff when required.
