Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend days to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role includes providing patient care across all ages and performing advanced CT imaging as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
• 1 year of CT experience is required.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by ARRT (CT) upon hire is required.
• CT - Computed Tomography Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) upon hire is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations per prescribed standards under radiologist supervision.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and maintain proficiency with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
