Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA is seeking a CT Technologist for evening shift to join our Imaging team. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images across all age groups.

Qualified graduates of AMA/JRCERT programs with BLS and ARRT certification are encouraged to apply; 6 months radiologic experience is preferred. This is a full-time opportunity with rotating on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification and BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients.
• CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
