Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA, is seeking a CT Tech for nights on a full-time basis. You will perform diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision, care for patients across all ages, and use state-of-the-art CT equipment.

The role requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and CT certification if under one year of experience. BLS is preferred; a strong patient-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist; CT certification if less than one year.
• Registered by the ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred if no year experience.
• ARRT CT certification preferred; BLS certification; CT technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography (CT) examinations per standards under Radiologist supervision.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric age groups.
• Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure quality imaging and safety.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. #IND789 #GD

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist. If less than one year as Radiologic Technologist must have advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
BLS certified. Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
