Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a CT Tech for an onsite, 17-week contract in Rochester, NY. The role runs weekday evenings, 3pm–11:30pm EST, with on-call requirements and some holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image verification, radiology coordination with physicians, IV insertion when needed, patient positioning, and accurate EPIC/PACS documentation. NYS licensure and ARRT are mandatory.

Qualifications

• ARRT credential and NY licensure required prior to start.
• Formal radiologic technology training completed.
• BLS certification required; two years CT experience preferred.

Allied Health Professional $1,484 weekly stipends $52/hour $2,080 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 9/14/2026 17 weeks

Day Shift 10 hours/day 4 days/week

CT Tech - Weekday Eves Rochester, NY

Monday - Friday; 3pm - 11:30pm EST, on call/callback, holidays and occasional weekends

Complete Description

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
• Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements

• HCP's currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submission
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
• Two (2) Years' Experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry

Preferred

• Injection certification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process.
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred.
