Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 12-hour evening shift in a high-acuity hospital. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CT tech experience, BLS and ARRT-CT certifications, and WI state licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities include operating 2 CT beds, providing 1:1 patient care, and using EPIC EMR. The role requires weekend work and on-call with a 30-minute response time.

Qualifications

• Experience with angiography, cardiac gating, and IV access.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Minimum 12 months of core experience in the specialty within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT unit with 2 CT beds.
• Care for pediatric to geriatric patients with 1:1 ratio.
• Maintain 36 hours per week on a 12-hour evening shift.
• Weekend coverage and on-call with 30-minute response.
• Utilize Cannon 64 Slice and Toshiba 40 Slice scanners.
• Use EPIC EMR, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis dispensing.
• Support Level IV Trauma Center and NICU facilities.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 12-hour evening shift assignment in a high-acuity hospital setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT-CT certifications required
• WI state licensure required if applicable
• Experience with angiography, cardiac gating, and IV access required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 12 months of core experience in the specialty area, with recent experience within the last year

Responsibilities

• CT unit with 2 CT beds
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 12-hour evening shift schedule, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• 36 standard hours per week
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call requirements vary with a 30-minute response time
• Uses Cannon 64 Slice and Toshiba 40 Slice CT scanners
• EPIC EMR system, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Level III Perinatal Center, accredited Level III Geriatrics, and Primary Stroke Center
• One-day facility and unit orientation provided
• Holiday coverage required if needed, based on call rotation
• No floating requirements
• Scrubs of any color permitted
• Free parking available in the east parking structure
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions
• Former Advocate Health employees must be separated for at least 12 months before becoming eligible for this assignment
