Job summary

MelroseWakefield Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans under supervision, ensuring accurate protocols and patient safety.

You will verify procedures, give clear instructions, and assist in maintaining quality control and supplies. Under supervision of a certified CT technologist, you will complete required education to obtain CT certification within two years, with a focus on radiology standards and safe radiologic practice at Tufts Medicine facilities in

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field is required.
• ARRT certification is required or in progress for CT certification.
• License eligibility for radiologic technologist in the respective state.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on assigned patients following policy and standards.
• Verify patient and procedure to be performed and provide clear instructions.
• Apply correct imaging protocol and scanner parameters for each patient.
• Ensure patient and staff safety when operating CT equipment.
• Administer IV contrast when required and maintain equipment quality control.
• Coordinate care with other staff and manage supplies and work areas.
