Job summary

RadNet is hiring a CT Technologist Trainee in Owings Mills, MD to join a patient‑focused imaging team. You will learn CT positioning, safety, contrast administration under supervision, and support image processing and QA in a fast-paced setting.

Required credentials include an accredited Radiology program, ARRT(R) and State Radiologic License, ARRT(CT) certification within policy timeframe, and BLS. Venipuncture certification is preferred. Training leads to full CT technologist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT certification within policy timeframe; continued employment contingent on this.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program is required.
• BLS certification required; venipuncture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures.
• Learn positioning techniques, immobilization, and safety procedures under supervision.
• Observe and assist with administering contrast media under supervision.
• Support image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in training to gain CT imaging competency.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Complete administrative tasks and data entry as assigned.
• Perform other related duties while learning the CT Technologist role.
