Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
• Radiologic Technologist State License in Computed Tomography.
• Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
• CT Technologist Certification (ARRT) or (NMTCB).
• Two (2) years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Aufgaben

• Follows hospital protocol for exam routines and produces quality studies in an efficient, timely manner.
• Operate equipment in department and seek training as needed.
• Warm up CT scanner, run QA, and manage contrast injections.
• Complete CT procedures efficiently with patient communication.
• Adjust images to required specifications and create reformatted images.
• Identify scans with correct patient data and accession numbers.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas and restock supplies.
• Communicate findings to physicians and care teams as required.
• Escort patient and assist with administrative parts of the procedure.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Restock stock and keep work areas clean.
