Methodist Hospital Northeast in Texas is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. The role focuses on CT imaging, patient care across age groups, equipment operation, safety and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start
• No travel required
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in all areas of computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT Systems.
• Responsible for proper use of the Radiology Imaging System, Meditech (scheduling exams, patient tracking, image tracking, proper completion of exams, capture charges).
• Provide care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; recognize crises and take actions to prevent complications; report to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the CT rooms, follow disinfection techniques, restock supplies, keep area clean.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; take instructions from supervisors; interact professionally with staff, patients, vendors and the public.
