The role you’ll contribute:

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follow standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrate leadership abilities and be a role model for other associate technologists. Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety for self, patients, and all other individuals. Practice all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA).
• Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Prepare patients for exams. Provide information and instruction to patients and/or families regarding the procedure and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
• Assist patients during exams and position them appropriately.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience.
• ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), or CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist in the state of employment if working in a Kansas site.
