Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures in the Imaging department under a Radiologist’s supervision. You will provide safe, high-quality patient care, capture optimal CT images, and collaborate with the clinical team to assist in diagnosing patients.

You may float to related facilities based on operational needs with proper orientation. Required qualifications include a Diploma in radiologic technology, active CRT license, ARRT CT

Qualifications

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
• Active California CRT license.
• ARRT CT certification.
• BLS certification current.
• Fluoroscopy license within 1 year of hire.
• ARRT license active.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department using appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Capture optimal images and ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and assist Radiologist in diagnosing patient conditions.
• Float to Inland Valley Hospital or Southwest Health Rancho Springs as needed with proper orientation.

Education

Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology

Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license

Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)

Current BLS certification

Fluoroscopy license within 1 year of hire

Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license

Venipuncture certification preferred

Job description

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department, providing specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols. They work under the general direction of a Radiologist and Imaging department leadership. The Technologist demonstrates service excellence while providing safe, quality patient care for all patients receiving imaging services. This includes capturing optimal images, collaborating with clinical team members, assisting the physician in diagnosing the patient’s condition or health complaint, and performing other duties as necessary to facilitate imaging service delivery.

Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.

Certifications & Licenses

• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
• Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
• Venipuncture certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
