Job summary

Southwest Health Inland Valley Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures within the Imaging department, using appropriate techniques to deliver high-quality scans and patient care. You will work under a Radiologist and Imaging leadership, ensuring safe, accurate imaging and collaboration with the clinical team.

The role may require floating to other Southwest Health facilities, with orientation and competency validation provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license.
• ARRT CT certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire.
• Active ARRT license.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to optimize patient care.
• Assist physicians in diagnosing conditions and ensure high-quality images.
• May float to other Southwest Health facilities as needed.

Job description

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department, providing specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols. They work under the general direction of a Radiologist and Imaging department leadership. The Technologist demonstrates service excellence while providing safe, quality patient care for all patients receiving imaging services. This includes capturing optimal images, collaborating with clinical team members, assisting the physician in diagnosing the patient’s condition or health complaint, and performing other duties as necessary to facilitate imaging service delivery.

Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.

Certifications & Licenses

• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
• Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
• Venipuncture certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
