Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA seeks a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures in the Radiology department under Radiologist supervision, delivering high-quality images and safe patient care.

The role requires CA CRT license, ARRT CT, BLS, and fluoroscopy license within 1 year of hire; minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred; may float to Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in radiologic technology from a certified school.
• Active California CRT license.
• ARRT CT certification and ARRT licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Fluoroscopy license within 1 year of hire.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures with appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Capture high-quality images and provide safe, quality patient care.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and assist radiologists in diagnosis.
• Float to other facility locations within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Job description

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department, providing specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols. They work under the general direction of a Radiologist and Imaging department leadership. The Technologist demonstrates service excellence while providing safe, quality patient care for all patients receiving imaging services. This includes capturing optimal images, collaborating with clinical team members, assisting the physician in diagnosing the patient’s condition or health complaint, and performing other duties as necessary to facilitate imaging service delivery.

Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.

Certifications & Licenses

• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
• Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
• Venipuncture certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
