Job summary

AdventHealth in Riverview, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations, ensuring patient safety and ALARA principles. You will work with radiologists and clinical staff to maintain imaging standards and patient care.

The role requires ARRT RT(R), CPR/BLS, and appropriate radiologic training. Day shift, full-time, with opportunities for professional development and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology.
• CT training and ARRT RT(R) certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT procedures while upholding ALARA and radiation safety.
• Follow imaging protocols and obtain informed consent and time-out procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure imaging quality and patient care.
• Document procedures in EMR/PACS accurately and timely.
• Educate patients about the exam and monitor for adverse reactions to IV contrast.
