Job summary

AdventHealth Auburndale is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations and ensure patient safety. You will follow infection control standards, use PPE, document in EMR and PACS, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging results.

Requirements include CT knowledge, ARRT RT(R) and RT(CT) licenses, 1+ year radiology experience preferred, and strong communication skills in English. Florida background screening applies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT procedures and scanners.
• Ability to follow infection control standards and PPE protocols.
• Proficient in documenting in EMR and PACS.
• AR RT licensure and CT-specific credentials required.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients about the exam and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain ALARA principles and radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast while monitoring for reactions.
• Document results timely and collaborate with radiologists.
