Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a Novant Health subsidiary, seeks a CT Technologist for our outpatient imaging team in La Plata, MD. This PRN/as-needed role involves preparing patients, performing CT scans, and collaborating with radiologists and clinicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Ideal candidates will be ARRT CT-certified, licensed as required by Maryland, and able to work with Epic EMR. This on-site position offers a patient-focused environment with no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in CT – RT(R)(CT).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• CT Technologist will assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure patient safety and image quality to support diagnostic procedures.

What You'll Do

The CT Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in CT – RT(R)(CT)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
