Job summary

MedQuest Imaging Matthews, a subsidiary of Novant Health, seeks a PRN X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist for our outpatient imaging team in Matthews, NC. You will independently perform diagnostic radiography procedures, prepare patients, and operate x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images in an ambulatory setting.

Requirements include an ARRT-approved Radiography program graduate, ARRT RT(R) certification, and an applicable state license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in RT(R).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures independently or with physicians.
• Prepare patients and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in outpatient setting.

What You'll Do

The Radiologic Technologist works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in RT(R)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
