Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Anderson, SC seeks a PRN CT Technologist to support imaging services on Saturdays and other shifts, without overnight or on-call duties.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating CT equipment, and assisting physicians to obtain diagnostic scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. ARRT CT certification and state license are required; familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification required and ARRT radiography program completed.
• Applicable state license where required.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and safely operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Assist physicians during CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety while following radiation safety protocols.

What You'll Do

The CT Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in CT – RT(R)(CT)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
