Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA seeks a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform diagnostic CT scans, prepare patients, operate scanners and monitor safety under the Radiologist’s supervision.

Responsibilities include imaging across neonatal to geriatric patients, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to ALARA principles. ARRT registration and BCLS certification are required upon hire; 6 months experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited program.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations following prescribed standards under the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
