Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide compassionate patient care across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The position requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, with ARRT registration and BCLS on hire. 6 months of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registration upon Hire required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
