Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Jasper, Georgia, is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. This role involves utilizing ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images and providing patient care for all age groups, including neonatal and geriatric patients.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and have at least 6 months of experience. Critical certifications such as ARRT and BCLS are required upon hire. We offer a collaborative environment and diverse teams.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist is required.
• ARRT certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program – Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist – Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) – Upon Hire Required
• BCLS – Basic Life Support – Upon Hire Required
