Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a CT Tech for a full-time, Day Shift position. No prior CT experience? Training is provided to help you excel. You will work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Prior CT experience preferred; CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
