Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, and Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, are seeking a CT Technologist to perform imaging studies with radiologist oversight.

You will capture high-quality CT images, follow protocols, and collaborate with the clinical team while floating between facilities as needed to meet operational needs. California licensure and ARRT CT certification required.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
• Valid California CRT license & ARRT CT certification.
• Current BLS certification and fluoroscopy license as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures and ensure high-quality CT scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support diagnosis.
• Float between Inland Valley Hospital and Rancho Springs Hospital as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and service excellence in imaging.

Responsibilities

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department, providing specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols. The CT Technologist performs under the general direction of a Radiologist and Imaging department leadership. The CT Technologist is responsible for demonstrating Service Excellence while providing safe, quality patient care for all patients receiving imaging services. This includes, but is not limited to, capturing optimal images, collaboration with clinical team members, assisting the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint, other duties as necessary to facilitate Imaging service delivery.

Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
• Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
• Venipuncture certification preferred

Experience:

• Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
