Job summary

HCT Staffing is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join their dynamic healthcare team in New Mexico. You will review orders, educate patients, and perform CT imaging while ensuring safety and quality. On-call availability is required with rapid facility reporting.

Applicants should hold ARRT Radiography and CT eligibility, NM radiography license (and CT provisional as needed), and a current BLS certification. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT Radiography certification is required; CT eligibility or CT certification preferred.
• New Mexico radiography license and CT license/Provisional CT license required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients on procedures and exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope of practice.
• Position patients and perform imaging; monitor, report and respond to status changes as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results with attention to image quality and accuracy.

How you’ll contribute

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patients’ understanding and cooperation.When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

On-Call Requirement

Must accept on-call assignments for scheduled shifts and be available to report to the facility within 30 minutes of notification.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences. Additional requirements include: License/Certifications: ARRT Radiography required. ARRT CT or CT eligible required.NM license in Radiography required. NM license in CT or CT Provisional required.BLS required.

Benefits

• Bonus: $10,000 paid in two equal installments after 90 days and 12 months.
