Tenet Healthcare's Valley Baptist - Brownsville Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with focus on safety and quality. You will work with radiation detection and imaging equipment, delivering patient-centered care across age groups from newborn to elderly.

The role requires completion of required exams, accurate documentation, and timely communication with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• ARRT(R) certification required; CT training; BLS; state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner and completes exams with documentation.
• Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review and completes associated documentation.

Job Summary

Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
