Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Hospital is seeking a radiology professional to supervise technologists across the department, ensuring clinical excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires ARRT certification and Texas licensure where applicable, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a technical radiology setting and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. BLS must be current at hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Graduate of accredited school of Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound or MRI.
• Preferred education: Associate’s Degree.
• Minimum experience: 3-5 years technical experience; 2 years supervisory.
• Required certifications/licensure: ARRT registration; Texas Medical Board license if applicable.
• Required CPR: BLS healthcare provider active on hire and obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct activities of technologists in the department and manage discipline and performance.
• Ensure established competencies are completed within the designated introductory period.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Under minimum supervision supervises and directs the activities of technologist working and/or rotating through the department including their discipline and performance while in that area. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years technical experience. 2 years experience at supervisory level.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience at supervisory level
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent depending on specialty. Possession of current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license (if ARRT Registered in ionizing radiation)
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
