Job summary

The CT Tech at Valley Baptist Health System – Harlingen performs diagnostic procedures using radiation detection and imaging equipment, delivering quality care for all ages. Ensures safety and completes documentation per department standards. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification required or eligible.
• BLS certification required; CT training documented.
• Preferred: 1–3 years imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality CT images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs required CT exams and submits studies to radiologist reading station.
• Completes all associated documentation and ensures patient safety and comfort.

Job Summary

The CT Tech performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
