Job summary

Lumafield is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for our Everett, MA facility to assemble and test complex CT-scanning systems with hands-on electromechanical work. You will follow detailed work instructions, use CAD drawings, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to refine processes and ensure quality.

You will perform QC checks, test and troubleshoot equipment, and document results while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and contributing feedback for process

Qualifications

• Hands-on, detail-oriented factory work
• Ability to read mechanical drawings/CAD instructions
• Proficient with hand/power tools and metrology
• Follows safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and operate lifting equipment

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies from detailed work instructions and CAD drawings
• Perform QC checks using factory checklists and validate build quality
• Test and troubleshoot CT scanning equipment to meet specs
• Track work using company software and document issues for traceability
• Provide feedback to improve work instructions and processes
• Test X-ray sources in Manufacturing Test Bed per work instructions
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and safety; follow all protocols
