Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis, operate CT equipment, and position patients to capture the appropriate images. You will work with EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to transmit scans to Radiologists and administer contrast as needed.

Required are an accredited radiology program and ARRT registration with a New Jersey state license; an AS in Diagnostic Radiology is expected, with CT Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the ARRT.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.
• CT Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
