Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-section images, adhere to ALARA standards, and manage contrast administration. You will operate CT equipment, interpret physician instructions, and coordinate with radiologists using EPIC, Radiant, and PACS.

The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure in diagnostic technology. Preferred CT certification and an accredited radiology program enhance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the ARRT.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.
• CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
